Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Skelton-on-Ure Pub and Hub Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on The Black Lion website. Similar technologies include local browser storage, scripts and embedded content supplied by other organisations.

1. How this website uses storage

The main website does not currently use advertising cookies or its own audience-analytics service. We use one essential local-storage record, called black-lion-cookie-preferences-v1, to remember which optional services you have allowed.

This record contains your choices, the policy version and the date of your choice. It does not contain your name, email address or booking details. We ask again after six months, or sooner if you clear your browser storage or we make a material change to these choices.

2. Optional external services

The services below are blocked when you first visit. They load only if you allow them in cookie settings or select the clearly labelled load button where the content would appear. Once loaded, the provider may receive information such as your IP address, browser details, referring page and activity within its service. It may also use cookies or browser storage under its own policy.

Google content

Purpose: to display an interactive Google Map on the contact page and Google-hosted photographs beside selected reviews. Provider: Google LLC. Read Google’s cookie information and privacy policy.

Anytime Booking

Purpose: to display live touring-pitch availability and begin a caravan booking. Provider: Anytime, a trading name of Negys Limited. The calendar also downloads a supporting script from cdnjs, operated by Cloudflare. Read Anytime Booking’s privacy policy.

Resos

Purpose: to display the table-booking form used for pub quiz nights. Provider: Resos ApS. Depending on the restaurant’s Resos configuration, the service may use necessary, functional, analytics or marketing technologies. Read the Resos cookie policy and privacy policy.

TryBooking

Purpose: to display ticket availability and booking for selected events. Provider: TryBooking UK Ltd. TryBooking uses cookies to operate and improve its booking service. Read TryBooking’s legal and cookie information and privacy policy.

3. Booking information

If you choose to make a booking, the booking provider will process the information you enter, such as your name, contact details, dates and any payment information. That processing is explained further in our Privacy Policy and in the provider policies linked above.

4. Change or withdraw your choice

You can change or withdraw permission at any time. Withdrawing permission stops the relevant external content loading on later pages; it cannot remove cookies already placed by another provider. You can remove those through your browser settings or the provider’s own controls.
